Mosaic Life is biblical in its vision, incarnational in its ministry, evangelical strategy, and reformed in its theology.
Our ministry with the Grand Rapids community is the focus for Grand Rapids Dreams our non-profit community development corporation -501(c)3, which will operate community development programs including:
Kids Club – After-school/tutoring and student enrichment ministry.
Math Club – Tutoring at South East Academic Center in partnership with Calvin College and Grand Valley State University
Computer Club
Job Klub – summer job training
Mosaic LiFE Academy – music and creative arts academy.
Soul Food Cafe – a spiritual watering hole and gathering place where bridges are built, faith explored and relationships formed between followers of Jesus and others.
Life Recovery – facilitate hope and wholeness in a broken world. Through

What are we doing now?
We will work to develop the focus of our community development efforts by assessing community needs and issues. We will:
- connect with community organizations survey community
- residents look at demographic trends for the Grand Rapids
- talk to the people who attend Mosaic LiFE to assess their interests and skills
How can I get involved at this point?
Volunteer in community development ministry through Grand Rapids Dreams. Right now, we can use the following types of people in our planning efforts:
Grand Rapids residents—particularly residents of East Hills Heritage Hill and Eastown neighborhoods Business owners and developers Health Care professionals Educators Youth Development professionals
